Slack
What it does
Scan channels, summarize threads, manage reactions, and send messages after you connect Slack.
Setup
Say “Set up Slack.” That creates a Slack app with Socket Mode. You bring the Slack bot token and app token. User integration and Slack bot are different connects. Check live status with assistant oauth status and assistant channels list.
Permissions
- Slack bot token plus app token.
- Sends need approval unless you write a trust rule.
- No host-desktop grant required for chat.

Configuration
- Per-channel permission profiles can restrict tools in public channels.
- Socket Mode means no public webhook URL.
Tips
- The assistant does not share Slack context outside Slack unless you ask.
