Environments

An environment is where the assistant process runs. In 0.1 that is this computer (Linux first). You download the app, hatch locally, and bring your own keys.

Local (0.1)

Workspace, memory, and config stay on disk. The gateway and CES run beside the assistant. This is the only supported hatch in 0.1. See Local hosting.

Cloud

Aevum does not offer a hosted Cadence Cloud signup in 0.1. There is no metered cloud environment to pick at hatch. See Cloud hosting.

Remote hatch

cadence hatch --remote gcp, AWS, or a custom Linux host is not in 0.1. Treat those flags as later. See Advanced options.

How to choose

If you want the product we ship today: local Linux. If you need a server you operate, wait for the later remote-hatch work. Do not invent a cloud account on aevumcadence.ai.
